LIMITED TO 10 APPRENTICES

The purpose of this apprenticeship is to empower young adults (ages 18-35) who feel lost or lack direction by offering a transformative 6-month apprenticeship that integrates hands-on training in both the performing arts and trade skills. This is a Skill & Career Accelerator - putting apprentices on a path to a successful and free entrepreneurial life.

The Apprenticeship, Trek Trades, is designed to empower aspiring artists through hands-on training in the performing arts, technical production, and practical labor trades. Apprentices gain real-world experience by traveling on tour with the live show REígnite Film, collaborating with the world’s top electric violinists and music professionals. The program equips participants with the skills to build sustainable careers in the gig economy, balancing creative and technical expertise with life skills like budgeting, taxes, and freelancing. With a strong focus on mental health and personal growth, Trek Trades creates a supportive community that helps apprentices thrive both personally and professionally.

This show build takes a lot of work - coordinating visuals such as lighting, video projection and cuing, and stage design. There is so much to live audio, from running cables, mixing the band sound (eq, compression, delay, etc.), running in ears to musicians on stage. There will be a lot of pre-production as well such as setting up click tracks, tuning instruments, setting up pedal boards…. During the show build apprentices will also work on recording both audio and film the show, and learn how to edit. Since the music for the symphonic film is difficult, there is plenty of time for each apprentice to practice each role and get comfortable with the show before hitting the road and playing concerts for live audiences. The tour will start in Augusta Missouri, a small
